CAMBRIDGE — Hespeler wants to party on Queen Street Sept. 25, but city red tape is tripping up organizers.
Coun. Rick Cowsill told council Monday that the Hespeler Village Neighbourhood Association wants to hold a day-long family event between Adam and Tannery streets.
City engineering staff suggested using nearby Forbes Park. That doesn’t sit well with organizers, who want to create something other than another version of the Forbes Park music festival, which was held last weekend. Mayor Doug Craig said he’d help Cowsill work out the problem.
