The City of Cambridge has the following volunteer opportunities available:
- The Fire Hall Museum & Education Centre is seeking volunteers to help with conducting short tours, answering questions, meeting the public and other light duties. To find out more, visit the museum at 56 Dickson Street (next to city hall) any Saturday between 9:30 am and 12:30 pm.
- John Dolson Centre is looking for an Aquatic Instructor Assistant and a Leader in Training (to assist with children’s programs on PA Days, day camps etc.). Please contact Ruth at (519) 740-4681 x 4320 or reitzelr@cambridge.ca.
- Silverheights and East Hespeler Neighbourhood Associations organize programs & special events, offer services for all ages, and provide many volunteer opportunities to neighbourhood residents. Volunteers are needed to serve on boards, run programs, promote events, deliver newsletters, and more.

St. Andrew's Terrace Long Term Care Community has the following volunteer opportunities:
- One-to-One Visitation Volunteers are needed to visit with residents. Go for a walk, play a game or just chat. Volunteers must be 17 years old and up.
- Dining Room Volunteers are needed to porter residents to/from dining room, assist or feed residents their meals, serve tea and coffee, and clear dishes. Shifts available 7 days a week, from 8:30 am to 9:30 am, 11:45 am to 12:45 pm, and 4:45 pm to 5:45 pm. Must be 14 years old ad up.
